You can practice using the assessment software that you will use in the final exam in an online self assessment now. More questions will be added subsequently during the following week. Just type your last name into the login box. The group name is "eSpace1". Take the "Begin Here" test first. This test will explain how to use the test software. After that, you can continue with the eSpace self assessments.
Your opinion is really important to us. Please help us improve the lecture next semester and fill out the evaluation form for this course.
Final written exam
Please read through the entire text carefully!
The final written exam will be on Tuesday, February 25th, 2003. The exam consists of 60 questions, the duration is 60 minutes. Each question will either be multiple choice (1 to 4 correct choices out of 4 available choices) or fill in the blank. The exam is computer based. You will use a standard PC and an internet browser in the PC-Lab of the Fakultät Wirtschaftswissenschaften (Building H, level 5) to answer the questions.
You will be able to familiarize yourself with the user interface of the computer based exam prior to the exam. A "test exam" will be published approximately one week prior to the exam for self assessment. The test exam will only be available in English. Instructions of how to take the test exam will be published in this log. We strongly encourage you to make use of this opportunity!
The default language of the exam is English. If you prefer to take a German version of the exam, you have to apply for a German version at least one week prior to the exam. You can do so by sending an eMail to Ingo Erdmann as soon as possible, but not later than Tuesday, February 18th, 2003.
Only students that are listed in this log as having successfully completed all 3 assignments and are registered with the Prüfungssekretariat Wirtschaftswissenschaften can take the exam. It is your responsibility to check the corresponding lists as published in the "General Information" section of 18.11. and 16.12., as well as the official exam list of the Prüfungssekretariat.
A final aggregated list of participants will be published in this log approximately three days prior to the exam.
The qualified exam participants will be grouped in 4 groups who will then take the exam in one of two PC-Lab rooms:
16:00 - 17:00
17:30 - 18:30
The group lists will be published in this log prior to the exam. If your name is listed in Group 4, please prepare to be eventually delayed until 19:00 - 20:00 in case seating cannot be accomplished as planned.
The first 43 sample questions are available in the respective sections of the first 5 lectures. The rest will be added during this week.
