In this session, we'll discuss trends, standards, and emerging technologies related to Web 2.0. We'll discuss the evolution of browser technology, to the point where browser-based applications have become significantly richer and almost indistinguishable from native desktop applications. We'll discuss shared calendars, and other recent developments that blur the lines between consumer software and business software. You'll learn about the Atom syndication format, and Atom publishing, and its emerging role in application integration. Finally, we'll consider the viability of browser-based content editors and explore creative new applications for Open Document Format.
