IBM Lotus Quickr Connectors In Depth
Bruce Roberts, Steve Foley / 23.01.2008 19:30:00

Lotus Quickr connectors allow your users to collaborate around documents without leaving their comfortable desktop apps, including the IBM Lotus Notes client and associated technologies. This includes support for sharing documents by linking, rather than e-mailing attachments. We'll review the connectors and how they make it easier for users to maintain a single copy of important documents and reference them from multiple clients: Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows Explorer, IBM Lotus Sametime and Lotus Notes. We'll also show how you can use the same services used by the Lotus Quickr connectors to incorporate similar functionality in your own applications. Finally, we'll talk about what's next for Lotus Quickr connectors including for Notes 8.0.1.
