One of the key new features in Lotus Domino 7 is the ability to evaluate DB2 as an alternative data store; this feature also allows you to query data contained in Domino NSFs directly using a SQL statement. How can you get the most out of your NSFDB2 deployment? What about using your Lotus Domino data in new ways? What about using your Lotus Domino applications in a Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) environment? In this hands-on session, we show how to build query views, access views, and use SQL to build views never before possible. We will also explore leveraging Lotus Domino NSFDB2 integration within IBM Websphere Portal Server 5.1, including how to use Click-to-Action to get the data to and from the DB2 enabled NSF. We will also show how to use the WebSphere Portal Server Personalization engine in Lotus Domino applications. Want to get the most out of NSFDB2? Then this session is for you.
The corresponding breakout sesion for this hands-on is "AD211 Using IBM Lotus Domino 7 with DB2: A Real-World Example"
