DL S. Hemisphere IV-V - Tuesday 11:15am - 12:15pm

Today's infrastructures often require using a corporate LDAP directory in addition to the versatility of the Domino directory. This session will cover practical information for deploying Single Sign-On (SSO) across multiple applications in a multi-directory world. We will brief you on the integration challenges and planning considerations involved when a typical user may be found in multiple directories with names of differing formats. Scenarios will cover WebSphere Portal, Lotus Instant Messaging, Team Workplace and Domino where multiple directories are deployed and where security infrastructure such as Tivoli Access Manager may be present. As background to understanding the multi-directory problem, we will provide an overview of related SSO technology and directory concepts.**
