Steven Johnson, Guest Speaker
Steven Johnson is a best-selling author whose writings have influenced everything from the way political campaigns use the Internet, to cutting-edge ideas in urban planning, to the battle against 21st-century terrorism. He has also co-created three influential websites: the pioneering on-line magazine FEED, the Webby Award-winning community site, Plastic.com and most recently the hyperlocal media site outside.in. Steven lectures widely on technological, scientific and cultural issues and was named by Newsweek as one of the "Fifty People Who Matter Most on the Internet." In all of his work — books, articles, speeches, on-line projects — Steven Johnson has consistently been ahead of the curve. He has a great track record of seeing emerging trends and explaining why they’re immediately relevant to both personal life and business.
