CS103 eMed - Domino 6 Web Enabled Systems: UNSW, Faculty of Medicine
Speakers: Tim Royle, Jim Leeper,
Session Location: SW Mocking Bird

The eMed suite of applications was implemented by the Univeristy of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2004 based on Domino technology. The applications assist with the scheduling of student activities, submission of assignments, assessment, publishing of results and providing a curriculum map. Extensive use of LotusScript, JavaScript and latest ND6 technology has been utilized. Come to this session to hear the development methodology, platform selection criteria, challenges faced during implementation and how powerful Domino applications were delivered to web browser clients. This web interaction coupled with the strengths of the Lotus Notes client have greatly enhanced information exchange, collaboration and assessment management for the faculty.
