HND108 Virtual Portals in Depth
Sunil Hiranniah; Thomas Hurek / 24.01.2007 18:30:00

With IBM Websphere Portal, various backend systems can be integrated to a common user experience. Nevertheless, there are various cases where you will have several independent user populations and you want to provide a very unique and distinguished look-and-feel to each of them. The purpose of this WebSphere Portal 6 session is to discuss and demonstrate the net step-by-step process for creating and configuring multiple realms, allowing different user populations, customizing, and deleting Virtual Portals. After creating and provisioning of Virtual Portals, we will walk you through the specifics of Virtual Portals in depth. The Lab guide can be used as a basis for attendees to independently manage their own Virtual Portals.** The corresponding breakout session for this hands-on is "ID505IBM WebSphere Portal Security Administration and Customization." Please refer to the Pocket Agenda for date, time and location information.
