IBM holds a leadership role with OASIS and JSR consortiums in coordinating the development and adoption of two new industry technical standards designed to facilitate a common approach to developing and executing portal components: JSR 168 Java Portlet Specification and WSRP 1.0. This session presents the advantages and design goals of these two standards. It also provides comparisons with existing tools and information on when and how to implement these new standards in applications built for the Websphere Portal Version 5.x platform.** |
